Eleanor Voterakis
In 2012, Eleanor posted a daily drawing on Instagram for 150 consecutive days. As she began to gain followers and ‘likes’, it got her thinking about the possibilities for an exhibition. As Eleanor says, “Anyone familiar with social media knows that it’s all about ‘likes’! Top 40 is the 40 most ‘liked’ drawings.”
Eleanor explained to me that some of her personal favourites, such as the portraits, didn't make the cut! Eleanor's Instagram followers “are the 'instacurators' of Top 40.”

Pep and Me
'Pep & Me' is a dynamic new collection of limited edition prints and original illustrations to emerge from the collaboration of designers Joe Puntoriero and Melanie Miles.
With an extensive background in the design field this accomplished partnership brings years of experience to the venture. They have already been working together since 2005 when their graphic design studio, Hybrid Expression, was established. their lives, keeping them intrigued as new creations are added to the collection.

Mark Zombo – A Lifetime’s Work
Another great show at the House of bricks....
Mark Zombo aka Mark Palazzolo started his artistic voyage way back in 1989 with a piece of work that stretched from one end of an A2 board to the other. Mark’s intricate detail and microscopic style resulted in 6 months of dedication to the one artwork.
Keeping that concept alive, he built a body of work, upping the ante by tackling larger and larger pieces, to the point where one artwork consumed four years of his life.
By 2013 Mark has yielded 17 completed framed art works, with an 18th in progress.
Throughout the years, snippets of his art have reached iconic status from record covers, a by-product of his career in the punk rock world, as bass player/founding member of Rupture.
Now he has decided to share his personal collection with the public, and provide the availability of limited prints of his fine art pieces.
Opening Friday March 29 @ House of Bricks. 6-9pm, Exhibition runs 27.03.13 – 7.03.13

VIC, 3066 Australia

Aquamarine Flow
Aquamarine Flow Exhibition
Aquamarine Flow art exhibition features St Kilda artist Katia Ksr's most recent paintings and prints, in which she aims to capture the sea as a place for contemplative reflection, self rejuvenation and natural interconnection.
"My recent paintings explore how being in nature can help us understand ourselves and find new levels of awareness and being,' Katia says, "The sea has many surfaces and depths...just like a person, it has its shades of light and dark. These paintings draw on my memories of the powerful and transformational experience of finding an emotional connection with the sea and its environment, and my own self."
