George Diamandis

House of Bricks proudly and psychedelically presents
EXPOSITION
A series of original paintings and prints by
George Diamandis
Exposition is an engaged and meaningful series of works from Melbourne artist George Diamandis, flaring with intricacy and depth of spirit.
George forms style from nature, gripping its psychedelic underpinnings in cognitive shapes through the blending and arrangement of colour and illustration.
The result is a vision of works both broken and whole, confusing and disarmingly simple, with an inexplicable dose of true talent. Come check it out!
Opening Party Saturday 2nd Feb 2013 6-9pm
Exhibition Dates – 30.01.13 – 10.02.13

Drawing On Desire

"Drawing on Desire" is Melbourne artist Stacey Bennett's debut solo exhibition.

Love, heartache, infatuation, obsession - we've all been there, and "Drawing on Desire" is a tempestuous and evocative display of these emotions, engaging the viewer through traditionally rendered illustrations and contemporary type design.

"Drawing on Desire" encompasses a range of styles, mixed media, and applications that visually communicates concepts from the serious to the quirky, from light-hearted to soul searching.
Opening night is January 21, 2013, and the exhibition runs until January 26 at:
The Owl and the Pussycat Gallery,
34 Swan Street, Richmond
Free wine 7-8pm
